Letter from tutor:
Years of poor posture and sports injuries combined with my early lack of body understanding, left my spine severely compromised, affecting both my health and quality of life. As a trained pharmacist, I understood the limits of conventional medicine. With a mix of desperation and hope, I began a personal journey to explore healing in ‘another world’. I’ve experienced many methods but each brought only limited results. It wasn’t until I encountered Critical Alignment Therapy (CAT) that introduced by Michelle. This unique approach to body healing, founded by Gert van Leeuwen focus on deep structural awareness transformed not only my body, but also my understanding of health.
Through ongoing practice, teaching and exploration, I gradually began to connect what I had previously learned about with what I was experiencing firsthand. This process has helped me better support others. I’ve seen how deeply posture and spinal health shape not just the body, but our emotional well-being. These experiences have also deepened my understanding that true healing is a process that requires patience, awareness, and dedication. Many issues can be reversed with the right understanding and practice even those we assume are just “part of aging.”
Today, I share what I’ve learned to help others care for their bodies, restore ease of movement, and reconnect with their natural vitality so they can move through life with a greater sense of freedom.
