Most of our diet today has evolved together with the convenience of farming and transportation technology; more choices of refined and imported foods become easily available in the market. On the other hand, local crops variety have gradually reduced and become less appreciated. GK Organic Farm has been growing and promoting local and seasonal vegetables, as they are most resilient to our climate. In the first term of cooking demonstration for 2024, Chef Tai presents you his creative cooking with simple local vegetables. Take this opportunity to appreciate the unique flavours and re-create the cooking cultures of such vegetables in our local cuisine, and thus reviving the connection between food, the land and the people.

Kudos to Chef Tai Lee Shyong who love local land and country lifestyle. He persist in working on GK organic farm more than a decade, for cooking every colourful and delicious meals by using the seasonal fruits, vegetables, herbs and flowers. Everyone is amazed at how delicious organic meal can be. These days, Mr Tai has been receiving numerous requests from people who interested in learning vegetarian cooking. Mr Tai will held a cooking class in Kuala Lumpur, cooking and sharing each dishes he make on the spot.
