Introduction<\/h2>\n

At Kongsi Academy, we strive to provide the best purchase, subscription, and registration experience for our patrons, customers, participants, and learners (hereinafter \u201cthe patron\u201d). If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase or registration, we’re here to help. This policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of events and\/or activities registered via our online registration channels.<\/p>\n

We are set to offer fair prices and good value for money in all our events and activities, including but not limited to seminars, workshops, and conferences (hereinafter \u201cthe event\u201d). Therefore, our paid events are abiding by our non-refundable and non-cancellable policy to ensure the ongoing viability of the events and activities unless otherwise specified in writing.<\/p>\n

Refund Policy<\/h3>\n

  1. No refund shall be given once the registration to the event has been made with payment (regardless of partial or full payment).<\/li>\n
  2. No refund will be given for any reasons including but not limited to injury, illness, emergency, life-and-death matters, personal-related matters, work-related matters, failure to find a replacement to attend the event on behalf, or no show at the event.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Cancellation Policy<\/h3>\n
      \n
    1. No cancellation of the paid registration is allowed.<\/li>\n
    2. No cancellation is allowed for any reasons including but not limited to injury, illness, emergency, life-and-death matters, personal-related matters, work-related matters, failure to find a replacement to attend the event on behalf, or no show at the event.<\/li>\n
    3. However, we understand that unforeseen circumstances occurred. That means the patron may not be able to attend the event in person physically or virtually. Therefore, we are happy for the patron to transfer his\/her registration to a family member, friend, or any individual as a replacement participant.<\/li>\n
    4. The patron will be responsible for finding his\/her replacement participant.<\/li>\n
    5. We appreciate that the patron can submit a replacement participant request application in writing (including email request) to our event\u2019s person-in-charge or organiser, at least fourteen (14) working days before the start date of the event. We will need the replacement participant\u2019s name and contact information in the application. Our team will inquire for additional information if deemed necessary.<\/li>\n
    6. Our team will review each request application on a case-by-case basis and, in its sole discretion, determine whether the patron\u2019s request application is successful. Our team will notify the patron upon successful replacement participant request application. The replacement participant is deemed invalid without confirmation from Kongsi Academy or its affiliates.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

      Our Right to Reschedule, Postpone, and Cancel an Event or Activity<\/h3>\n
        \n
      1. Note that some circumstances may be beyond our control that may result in necessitate substitution, alterations, or cancellation of the event. Therefore, Kongsi Academy and its affiliates reserve the right to alter or modify the advertised event if necessary.<\/li>\n
      2. Should we need to reschedule, postpone, or cancel an event due to unforeseen circumstances, we will aim to inform you as much as possible. Unfortunately, we cannot accept any liability for travel or other costs incurred by the patron to attend the event.<\/li>\n
      3. The patron is responsible for understanding this policy upon registering for any of our events.<\/li>\n
      4. However, we realize that exceptional circumstances can take place. Should there be additional or specific policies, rules, or regulations stated specifically for an event, these additional policies and rules will supersede the general guidelines stated in this Refund and Cancellation Policy for Events and Activities.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Further Information<\/h2>\n

        Please be informed that Kongsi Academy reserves the right to disallow, refuse, or reject any request for refund or cancellation, even if the original purchase receipt is presented if the registration request intended for refund or cancellation do not comply with our Refund and Cancellation Policy.<\/p>\n

        The patron acknowledges and agrees that Kongsi Academy\u2019s decision is final, conclusive, and binding, and covenants and agrees that it will not bring suit or otherwise assert any claim against Kongsi Academy or its affiliates in relation to such decision.<\/p>\n

        Kongsi Academy reserves the right to change this policy at any time without prior notice. In the event that any changes are made, the revised policy shall be posted on this website. Please check the latest information posted herein to be informed of any changes.<\/p>\n
